Work Philosophy

Each person has their own work philosophy. It is the reason that they chose to go into a specific field and how they chose which job they ultimately want to pursue. This involves answering questions such as what are their most basic beliefs and what brings them satisfaction. Below, I listed some of the attributes that I think contribute the most to my own work philosophy

Motivation

One of the biggest decision makers is motivation. In order to complete any task, I need to be motivated to do that project. This really means finding a job that I have a passion for and that I am really motivated to get up each day and do. It's part of finding that purpose, where I feel like I am doing something that impacting the world. I think that it is important to find the balance between making money while also enjoying the life that you are living, whether that is through the job or the time away from the job. I struggled the most finding my balance in the fall of

each school year. I am always trying to succeed in school and continue to interact with my friends while also keeping up with Cross Country practices and my own work schedule at Panera. I always have to be conscious about finding time to relax and let everything go for at least a small amount of time each day. Many times this means allowing opportunities to hang out with my friends whether it's Friday night football games or just an hour long FaceTime call.
